Over 20 years of performance experience
Jasmina is a DJ, vocalist and singer-songwriter with world-class musical education and experience. Her performances bridge the gap between soul and R&B, pop, jazz, and modern club culture. Rooted in Chicago house, disco, and deep house elements, she brings a compelling live vocal performance to her sets. From emotional sunset sessions and refined business dinners to corporate events and a lively dance floor, Jasmina's virtuosic and emotive performance leaves no one indifferent.
She spent her childhood in Pula, and at age seven moved to Chicago where she grew up, achieving numerous successes through exceptional talent and dedicated work. As a young girl she performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and on the stage of the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Thanks to her musical achievements, she received scholarships to some of the most prestigious private schools in the US.
She continued her musical and academic journey at Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music in Ohio on Posse and Jesse Jackson scholarships, where she studied neuroscience and psychology while honing her skills in singing, ethnomusicology, and jazz. During her years in New York she performed at Kaufman Astoria Studios, Triad Theatre and club Fine and Rare, and trained vocally under jazz legends Jay Clayton and Marion Cowings.
Most recently she presented herself to a wider audience in Croatia at Dora 2026 with her original song "Higher." In her performances she covers well-known hits from around the world as well as from Croatia, alongside original songs, often improvising over the musical backdrop — adding an element of spontaneity and excitement to every performance.
Rather than simply playing music, Jasmina treats every performance as the creation of an emotional atmosphere for your event. She skillfully adapts her performance to the client's wishes, always maintaining the high standard of quality and elegance for which she is already known throughout Istria.
As a DJ/vocal combination, she regularly performs at venues such as Meneghetti Hotel & Winery (Bale), Kavana (Pula), Grand Park Hotel Rovinj by Maistra (Rovinj), and at numerous private events throughout Croatia.
